SierraOutdoorRecreation.com is a small, family-based, dot-com company of enthusiasts. Each member contributes their skills as much for the fun and satisfaction of exploring the entire Site's possibilities as the potential financial rewards. Our group has grown from the original father-son team of author and computer programmer to a loose-knit team of independent contractors that are in effect stockholders representing writing, editing, computer programming, graphic arts, cartography, photography, bookkeeping and data management. We are looking for the right, enthusiastic Marketing and Sales person to help us create and realize the financial opportunities based on the one-of a kind, content rich Website that we are continuing to develop.
Advertising sales will be based on an on-line “Yellow Pages” business model focused on outdoor recreation and service providers. Currently the Marketing Position will work with businesses located in about 75 small communities and their businesses within the Central Sierra Nevada. Our intention is to target the entire Northern Sierra Nevada within the next couple of years.
Potential to network and develop friendships with small-town community leaders and outdoor recreation providers by providing rural economic development opportunities. Perks and tax incentives available through the network of contacts the marketing and sales person develops.
