Lake fishing includes some rainbows with Eastern Brook Trout (stocked 2000). Some recreationists choose to drop 0.3 mile to Lower Lola Montez Lake from here.

DIRECTIONS:
To Upper Lola Montez Lake via Rattlesnake Road
Topographic map: Soda Springs. Exit at Cisco Grove (see Grouse Ridge Map) off I-80 turning to the north side of the Interstate, then follow Rattlesnake Road #85 east 10 miles. Turn right (south) onto signed Forest Service Road #85-13. Low-clearance, 2-WD vehicles should park at the bottom of the rough segment of road and walk the remaining short distance.

Nice destination but the "hike" is just a connection segment from the road to the lake.
