This trail follows the old road and makes nice trek up from Ruck-a-Chucky Campground mornings or evenings. It’s best use is as a diversion for campers looking for a hearty exercise. There is a great site for a picnic at an old wooden table under a grand oak. The views of the canyon from the ridge are perfect for a restful stop or destination. You’ll earn the break.

Directions from top: no public parking available so arranged drop-offs are the best option. With the lack of access the trail is best used from the bottom.
