Maine Bar Trail

DESCRIPTION:

No bikes. As a twin of the Brown’s Bar Trail, at best this is a steep descent to Maine Bar and Quarry Road Trail/Western States Trail (Tevis). The trail follows an old road that crosses the Western States Trail (runners). The trail itself starts at the Western States Trail (Runners). From there it drops to the river and the Quarry Road Trail/Western States Trail (Tevis Cup). This combination offers loop opportunities, but going down is much, much easier than coming back up. See American Canyon Trail, Dead Truck Trail, and Quarry Road Trail/Western States Trail (Tevis).
