Halls Ranch Trail

DESCRIPTION:

Best part of trail is first 3 miles to Fiddle Creek Ridge and trail junction. The steady 1540' climb offers rewarding views of the North Yuba canyon -- but Hwy 49 offers better views and is much easier. This is best access route for mountain bikes and offers very challenging loop opportunity. Turn right at the Fiddle Creek Ridge Trail (see above) junction to head for Halls Ranch. Trail continues over rolling, challenging drops and climbs for Fiddle Creek, then again Little Fiddle Creek, and finally through burned over area (1987) near Halls Ranch.
