With a trail head on the south side of the Auburn end of the New Foresthill Road, this fire road/trail drops rapidly down from Foresthill Road, by the connecting Mossy Rock Trail, and down, down to the Stagecoach Trail. Finally it connects to Stagecoach a few hundred feet elevation above the North Fork of the American River underneath the Foresthill Bridge.
