Bridgeview Trail
With a trail head on the south side of the Auburn end of the New Foresthill Road, this fire road/trail drops rapidly down from Foresthill Road, by the connecting Mossy Rock Trail, and down, down to the Stagecoach Trail. Finally it connects to Stagecoach a few hundred feet elevation above the North Fork of the American River underneath the Foresthill Bridge.

This offers one more option to the marvelous maze of trails within the Auburn Recreation Area in this steep slope below the outskirts of Auburn.
But, views both from and of the bridge are more fun than the trail. Save it for gung-ho exercising of your options to stay healthy. Drop down, not up—unless you’re wanting to increase your cardiovascular rate.

Topographic map: Auburn. Follow Foresthill Road (F) 0.7 mile east of Lincoln Avenue just before bridge across the North Fork starts. Parking alongside road on right (south). Trail begins past green gate immediately to right of bridge.
