4WD, easy.
Although the Sliger Mine Road to the campground is not a designated OHV route, 4WDs are able to drop the last three miles to the Middle Fork much easier than 2WDs. This area is enjoyed mostly by OHV users.
Primitive camping is permitted on the Middle Fork in this area. Chemical toilets and trash cans are the only luxuries. No glass containers permitted.
Travel 6.4 miles east; as you drive into Greenwood (E), turn left (east) onto Sliger Mine Road. Heading east and then north, continue by the Spanish Dry Diggins cemetery another 0.3 mile and turn right (north) at Fox Grove Lane junction (shown but not labeled on map). Sliger Mine Road continues rapidly downhill once pavement ends, and low clearance vehicles should park before that. Beyond there, high-clearance vehicles recommended. Campground is additional 3.0 miles.
