DIRECTIONS:

To Weil Lake

Access can be achieved via a rough climb up Canyon Creek above (east)Faucherie Lake. I’d do that route if I were camping at Faucherie. It’s a longer drive that requires 4-wheel drive, but a less demanding hike cross-country to travel in to French Lake and then climb the ridge to Weil Lake. Successful fishing is only a bonus to any day spent here. See Grouse Ridge Map.
