This is a very remote area. Few visit. Most by OHV but the heartiest of mountain bikers can come up either Lavezzola Creek or throught the Gold Valley.
The basin is rugged and rocky. Nice, real nice!
Both Lower and Upper lakes were planted to Brook Trout in 2000.

Access via an old 4-wheel drive road over the ridge above Hawley Lake or from the old A-tree site and the 23N08 Road of the Plumas National Forest. The road can also be accessed through the Plumas-Eureka State Park. See Lakes Basin Map.
