Family and fishing friendly lake in gentle basin tucked under the Sierra Crest. The Packer Lake Lodge overlooks the lake and offers boat rentals and a boat ramp. The dining in the old log structure is excellent. Rainbow catchables are planted each year; boat or shore fishing can be good; no motorboats allowed.
