Lovely rich blue color. Great spot to share a picnic lunch and even a bottle of wine and then talk about how the colors of the lake match your hiking companion's eyes. Or something like that. Worked for me. But the next time I'll wait after mid-June when there was still ice in the lake. Great for chilling the wine and unfortunataely the girlfriend.
