History Walking Tour of the North Star House

was on the Board of Directors when the Nevada County Land Trust acquired the North Star property and has volunteered many hours towards the restoration of the rose gardens and in becoming an expert on the fascinating history of this “jewel” in our community. Walk with Carole on a tour of the North Star property stopping at places of special interest and listening to short history stories and readings from Angle of Repose or Mary Hallock Foote's book. Some of the places will be the site of the cottage, the orchard, and of course the main house where you can enjoy your lunch overlooking the grounds.
Cost: $12 Members, /$17 Non-members
