This campground lies on the west shore peninsula. There are  29 campsites. This is a fee use area.

DIRECTIONS:

To Prosser Campground

To get to the south side of the reservoir and the dam: Drive one mile north of Truckee via Highway 89 and turn right on the  Prosser Dam Road; the dam lies 3 miles to the east via the Dam Road. No campgrounds on this road. To get to the west side of the reservoir and the campgrounds: Travel 4.0 miles north of Truckee on Highway 89. Turn east at sign onto Forest Service road #18N74 and follow for 1.4-1.9 miles, depending on your choice of campground.
