Located on the northwest shore; there are 12 campsites. Either pack-in drinking water or purify lake water (not recommended due to oil and fuel contaminants) and pack-in/pack-out garbage. The hike in is about 1 mile from the end of the road.

Take Mosquito Ridge Road east of Foresthill for 36 miles. The road is paved, but canyon drop-offs not for the squeamish.
