This campground sitting on the western shore of Lake Valley Reservoir is operated by Pacific Gas & Electric Company. There are 35 campsites. Fees.
It enjoys quick and easy access from I-80. The location is great until the reservoir is drawn down by late summer.

Exit at Yuba Gap to the south. Follow the Crystal Lake road east for 0.4 mile to the Lake Valley Reservoir Road. Turn right (south) and follow for 1.2 mile then veer right onto the Six Mile Valley Road. The campground is straight ahead in 0.7 mile.
Good opportunity for small boats and trolling.
Unitl the lake drawn down this lake is one of the best - especially for small boats and flat water paddling. Boat ramp is located a couple of miles away on the north shore at the Silver Tip Picnic Area.
