Alpine Meadow Campground

Located in a small forested area above Martis Creek Reservoir sitting in a sagebrush-covered, high-country meadow. Yet minutes from downtown Truckee. The reservoir is managed by California Fish and Game as a "wild trout fishery" and is the home to to trophy sized German Browns and Rainbow trout. The lake is managed as a Lahontan trout fishery.

Take Highway 267 south from Truckee for 6.5 miles and turn left (east) at sign. Two miles to the reservoir. Campground is to the left on the ridge before reaching the reservoir.
