Sawtooth Ridge Road #06:

Sawtooth Ridge has developed into an array of great mountain bike treks that connect from North Star to Squaw Valley Ski Areas that have thrown their facilities open to mountain biking enthusiasts. Still others follow trails and roads right out of Truckee and Tahoe City.

This good Forest Service Road continues south to the Lake Tahoe Basin and serves as a connecting route for both mountain bikers and cross-country skiers.

The nationally favorite Western States Trail and Tevis Cup Ride for equestrian trail riders begin at Robie Park not far up the road from Truckee.
