Lassen National Park:

Towering above the lava beds and conifer forests at over 10,000 feet, the summit of Mt. Lassen is surprisingly easy to reach by trail.

Lassen National Park is one of the most beautiful and interesting places to visit in California. Until 1980, it was the most recent and active volcano in the United States. There is so much to see and do here that one could spend days, even weeks.
