Highway 20 from Nevada City to I-80:

This forested, scenic highway offers several opportunities to get off the fast lane. As part of the Yuba-Donner National Scenic Byway, it is a nice drive all by itself.

Traveling in either direction, the forested canopy arching over the highway makes this a pleasant drive. Year-round.
