Bowman Lake Road:

The Bowman Lake Road provides the best and easiest driving access into the Grouse Ridge Area. Several trailheads from along its route to Bowman Lake quickly take recreationists into the heart of the back-country.

Destinations from the Bowman Lake Road best serve the east and northern sections. I-80 provides quick access to trailheads reaching in from the south, but the trails from there are more rugged than those from Bowman. Meadow Lake is the lengthiest drive and the most remote access. It is the only way to enter from the east. Although it is a long drive, from the lake it is a short trip into some of the most rugged and scenic parts of Grouse Ridge.
