Auburn:

With the exception of Western States Trail events, trails from Auburn to the Confluence most frequently serve folks out for exercise -- great for power walks, jogs, biking, or casual strolls.

Upriver trailheads (see individual trails) are more commonly used to access canyons lying further to the east. However, several Auburn-based trails connect with others heading upriver so adventure seekers can go far up the river via trails starting right out of Auburn.

There are four trailheads within or adjacent to Auburn. See individual trail descriptions for designation of which trailhead is appropriate.
