All events are led by volunteers who are knowledgeable in their field. Hiking treks vary from easy to moderately strenuous outings.

The Nevada County Land Trust is a local, non-profit, public benefit corporation organized to protect land for natural, recreational, scenic, agricultural, historical, cultural, educational, and scientific purposes. Funds raised through the modest fees help them achieve their mission.

Armchair Event:

Looking for something to fill a few hours as we transition into spring? Join Nevada County Land Trust as they present each spring "Armchair Events" held at the Madelyn Helling Library Community Room. “Armchair Events” benefit the Land Trust in supporting its projects and provide the community interesting and informative opportunities to spend time with colorful presenters – like a mini-getaway.

Reservations are not required but come early to be sure you get a seat. Call Stephanie at the Land Trust, 530-272-5994 for more information.

Treks Through Time: Guided hikes will be led by volunteers of the Nevada County Land Trust under new calendars for either spring, summer or fall hikes.
